Sometimes it looks like birds don't have necks, but they all do. In fact, their necks are really flexible. Look at this owl . . . it is turning its head almost all the way around! Bird necks are very AGILE -- that means they are very flexible and move easily.

Bird's don't have noses like you and I do, noses that stick out from their faces.
They do have nostrils that let air in and out for breathing. Can you see them? The nostrils are on the top of birds' beaks.
The eyes of most birds are on the sides of their heads. That means they can see better to the right and left rather than straight ahead.
