How to Knit Continental
I frequently get asked about my knitting style. I did not learn to knit in the United States, so the way I knit looks just a bit off to US knitters. I knit using a method called "Continental Knitting" and it is the way pretty much every other county in the world knits! If you can crochet, you're more than halfway there. I've linked to a few of my favorite videos about knitting Continental.
Another variation to knitting (American or Continental) is called "Combination Knitting" (sometimes called "Combined Knitting"). It speeds up knitting by using both Eastern- and Western-mounted stitches. Check it out if you're ready to increase your knitting output!
